Our Schools

We support and operate 11 primary schools across London and Berkshire, brought together as a group to deliver the BPET vision and ethos.

Rutherford House School, 217 Balham High Road, Balham, London, SW17 7BQ

Rutherford House School is a 2-form entry primary school, which opened in September 2013. The school is full with 420 pupils aged from 4-11 years old. Pupil achievement is high, with 75% of Year 6 pupils meeting the expected standard in reading, writing and maths through the SATs in 2023 (in the absence of national assessments). This is 9% above the national average in 2023.

In July 2022, Rutherford House was judged by Ofsted as Good, with Outstanding features in the areas of Personal Development and Behaviour & Attitudes. .

Rutherford House School runs an extensive range of extra-curricular activities, with 90+ high quality clubs a week for pupils and parents to choose from – many run by staff and the Headteacher!

The School’s Supplementary Funding Agreement is the BPET Master Funding Agreement as Rutherford House School is the first school formed.

Braywick Court School, Hibbert Road, Bray, Maidenhead, SL6 1UU

Braywick Court School is a 1-form entry primary school with a pre-school, which opened in September 2014 and moved into their new state of the art building in October 2019. The most popular school in Maidenhead, Braywick Court School are full with 240 pupils on roll aged from 2-11 years. Pupil achievement is high, with 74% of Year 6 pupils meeting the expected standard in reading, writing and maths through the SATs in 2023, which is 5% above the national average (2023).

In April 2023, Braywick Court School was judged Outstanding in all areas for the second time by Ofsted. .

Whitehall Park School, 106 Hornsey Lane, Islington, London, N6 5EP

Whitehall Park School is a 2-form entry primary school, which opened in September 2014. The school is popular and almost full with 400 pupils on roll, aged from 4-11 years old. Pupil achievement is strong with 34% of pupils were at greater depth for Reading (6% above the national average), 34% of pupils were at greater depth for Writing (19% above the national average), and 32% of pupils were at greater depth for maths (10% above the national average).

In September 2022, Whitehall Park School was judged by Ofsted as providing pupils with a Good education. The Ofsted report highlighted the solid knowledge of subject leaders, how close knit and supportive staff is and how they work closely with the local authority, and leaders in other schools within BPET, in order to develop their expertise. .

Kilburn Grange School, Priory Park Road, Kilburn, Brent, NW6 7UJ

Kilburn Grange School is a 1-form entry primary school, which opened in September 2015. The school is popular with 230 pupils, aged from 4-11 years old. Pupil achieved very well with 62% of pupils reaching age related expectations at the end of Year 6 in Reading, Writing and maths combined (3% above national average).

52% of pupils achieved greater depth in Reading at the end of Year 6, which is 24% above national average. A huge achievement in a school where 74% of children have a English as an additional language!

In July 2018, Kilburn Grange School was judged by Ofsted to be Good in all areas. .

Halley House School is a 1-form entry primary school which opened in September 2015. Halley House also opened a nursery provision in September 2021, welcoming pupils from the ages of 3-11 years old. The school is full with 210 pupils. Pupil achievement is good with 63% achieving the expected standard in Reading at the end of Year 6, with 26% at greater depth. In Year 1, 85% of pupils passed the phonics test, which is above the national average of 79% in 2023.

Deer Park School is a 2-form entry primary school, which opened in September 2015 and moved into its permanent location on 20 April 2021. The school is very popular and full in all year groups with 360 pupils, aged from 4-11 years old. Pupil achievement is very high, with 90% of of Year 6 pupils meeting the expected standard in Reading, Writing and maths through the BPET SATs in 2023 (21% above national average).

50% of pupils were also performing at a greater depth in each Reading, Writing and maths at the end of Year 6, 25% or more compared to national average.

In July 2018, Deer Park School was judged by Ofsted to be Outstanding in all areas. .

Watling Park School is a 2-form entry primary school, which opened in September 2015. The school has 407 pupils aged from 4-11 years old. Pupil achievement is high for the pupils context, where 80% of pupils have English as additional language and 54% of pupils are in receipt of Pupil Premium Funding. 67% of pupils in Year 6 met the expected standard in Reading. 67% achieved the expected standards for Writing, and 60% met the expected standards for maths in 2023.

In June 2023, Watling Park School was judged by Ofsted to be Good in all areas. Special mention was given to the breadth of the curriculum and the varied enrichment opportunities on offer to pupils. .

Evendons Primary School is a 2-form entry primary school, which opened in September 2014 and joined BPET on 1 February 2020. The first STEM school in Wokingham, Evendons educates 400 pupils, aged from 4-11 years old. Pupil achievement is good, with 71% of pupils meeting the expected standard in Reading, Writing and maths at the end of Year 6, 11% above national average. 82% of pupils were at age related expectations for Reading at the end of Year 6, 9% above national average.

In February 2024, Evendons Primary School was judged by Ofsted as an Outstanding school in all areas.  .

Whiteknights Primary School, Fairlawn Green, Shinfield Rise, Reading RG2 8EP

Whiteknights Primary School is a very popular 2-form entry school with a nursery, serving a community to the east of Reading. The school joined BPET on 1 January 2022.

Pupil achievement is very high, with 93% of of Year 6 pupils meeting the expected standard in reading, writing and maths in 2023 (24% above national average). 34% of pupils were also performing at a greater depth in Reading, Writing and maths at the end of Year 6, 28% above the national average.

In March 2023, Whiteknights was judged by Ofsted as a Good school in all areas. .

Rivermead Primary School, 218 Loddon Bridge Road, Woodley, Reading RG5 4BS

Rivermead Primary School joined BPET on 1 January 2023. Rivermead serves the community of Woodley and is a very popular 2-form entry school, which is full with 428 children.

Pupil achievement is high. In 2023, 93% of pupils in Year 1 passed the phonics screening, which is significantly above the national average. 64% of pupils in Year 6 achieved the expected standards for Reading, Writing and maths in 2023, 5% above national average.

In November 2014, Rivermead was judged by . The school underwent a short inspection in October 2018 and the judgement remained Good and the inspectorate acknowledged ‘clear thinking and diligence has meant that the school’s strengths have been maintained since the last inspection and improved on them further. This is a happy school. Pupils are confident, well behaved and polite.’

The Heights Primary school, 129 Upper Woodcote Road, Reading, RG4 7LB

The Heights Primary joined BPET on 1 December 2023.  The school opened in September 2014 in response to an increasing need for primary school places in West Caversham. It has grown organically and reached full capacity of 350 children across Reception to Year 6 in September 2020. The school is a popular 2-form entry school serving the Caversham Heights community. Pupil achievement is very high with 82% of pupils achieving the expected standard in Reading, Writing and Maths, combined in 2023, at the end of Year 6 (23% above  national average).
